Polish Law and Justice (PiS) politicians are trying to bring U.S. Vice President JD Vance to Poland to save Karol Nawrocki’s campaign, claims Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.
The daily newspaper writes that PiS politicians want to invite American and European supporters of Donald Trump to the G2 Arena in Rzeszów for the CPAC conservative congress.
The date is May 26-27, a few days before the planned second round of presidential elections (June 1). President Andrzej Duda and the head of the Institute of National Remembrance, the presidential candidate supported by PiS, Karol Nawrocki, are to speak at the event.
“Our sources in PiS tell us that the most important guest at the congress will be a senior politician from the Trump administration. Who? Our sources claim that the organizers want JD Vance, the American vice president, to be present. He shocked the European establishment in Munich in February, accusing them of allegedly violating civil liberties and persecuting conservatives,” reports “Wyborcza.”
According to the newspaper, “If Vance attacked Tusk’s government in Poland and supported PiS and its presidential candidate, Nawrocki’s campaign could regain momentum. Especially after the revelation of the compromising case of his second apartment. He bought it from a pensioner in exchange for care he did not provide.”

According to GW, the attempt to bring Vance to Poland is to multiply the effect of Nawrocki’s meeting with Trump, which took place last week in the Oval Office during the IPN chief’s visit to Washington. The photos of the U.S. president with the candidate for president of the Republic of Poland were published by the White House.
“The meeting was the result of the work of several people: PiS MEPs Adam Bielan and Dominik Tarczyński, who maintain contacts with MAGA people working in the White House, and Jerzy Kwaśniewski, the head of Ordo Iuris,” we read in the article.
